About Us

Josh founded Apogee Construction LLC in 2024, driven by a passion for quality craftsmanship and a deep understanding of Alaska’s unique construction challenges. His career in construction is broad and hands-on, spanning roles from laborer to Superintendent. This experience has given him a comprehensive knowledge of building techniques, project management, and creative problem-solving in even the toughest conditions.

A West High School graduate (2006), Josh began his career working as a laborer and carpenter, gaining real-world experience before enlisting in the Marine Infantry at age 20. His time in the Marines gave him discipline, leadership skills, and the opportunity to travel the world, from serving overseas to experiencing places like Thailand.

After his service, Josh returned to Alaska to study Construction Management at the University of Alaska Anchorage, combining formal education with his extensive field experience. Today, he applies that expertise to every project at Apogee Construction—whether building custom decks, managing complex jobs, or helping clients bring their visions to life.

When he’s not on the job, Josh enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring Alaska’s outdoors, and pursuing the experiences that have shaped his life and career. His journey reflects a commitment to excellence, adaptability, and a personal touch in every project he undertakes.
